Mike Gesicki's Final Game Playing for Penn State Will Be in the Fiesta Bowl on Dec. 30

STAFFORD, NJ - Area residents have enjoyed watching Mike Gesicki from Stafford display his football skills on the national collegiate level  these past four years. Mike will have one final game in which he will represent Penn State University on Saturday, December 30 at 4 p.m.  Penn State will compete in the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona against Pac-12 opponent Washington University. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

The No. 9 Nittany Lions and the No. 11 Huskies were selected on Sunday after the announcement of the final four teams selected for the 4 team championship playoffs. 

This will be Gesicki's final college game.  Mike is expected to be drafted by an NFL club this spring and projected to go in the first or second round.  He has scored 9 touchdowns with 51 receptions for 501 yards.  He has set career records on receptions and touchdowns for a career at Penn State.

Mike was chosen with teammate Saquan Barkley to the first team All Offensive Team in the Big Ten Conference this season.
