Bianca Nicolini recorded 14 points, three rebounds, thee assists and four steals for Southern.  Southern Coach Tom Bucci remarked "I felt like we played really hard today but didn't take care of the ball the way we needed to.  We allowed too many fast break points. Notre dame is a very good team. We couldn't afford to not do all the little things against them. We stayed together and never gave up. That is something that I love about these girls. We have to tighten up some things here with everyone back and get some continuity out there. I feel we are on our way."

Notre Dame plays Neptune in the championship game Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. and Southern will face Howell in the third-place game at 1:30 p.m.
