STAFFORD, NJ - Registration is open now for the 10-week summer semester at Ocean County College’s Southern Education Center. Classes start May 23 and June 29.
Students can take courses in two differnet ten week sessions. This is great opportunity for summer residents on LBI or Ocean County residents looking to get started on a new degree or gaining a few more credits. It all can be done in the Southern Ocean Extension Center in Manahawkin near the Southern Regional High School.
Summer 2016 courses at the branch campus include Fundamentals of Public Speaking, Introduction to Statistics, General Psychology, A Survey of Mathematics, English I and various biology and computer literacy classes.
Students can complete OCC degrees in liberal arts or general studies – with concentrations in business, humanities, science and social science – at the Manahawkin site. Both day and evening courses are available, as are tutoring and library services.
Students can take coursework towards any OCC degree at the Southenr Extension Center. Degrees in Liberal Arts or General Studies (with concentrations in business, humanities, science, and social science) can be completed in Manahawkin.
