"Saturday was a great day for the Irish," said Chris Ebert, President.  "Thanks to everyone for helping to make the Ocean County Irish Festival a huge success. To our staff, sponsors, vendors, entertainers, and of course the thousands of people that attended the event, thank you."

Families and groups of friends came and set up their own sections with tables and chairs to enjoy the day's events

The Shillelaghs honored "Big Joe Henry" from NJ 101.5 as their first "Irishman of the Year."  Big Joe was broadcasting his weekend radio program live at the park most of the day.

The leaders shared that a huge aspect of this years event was free admission to all. This was the first time the festival has offered free admission.

50/50 raffles were held every two hours and the Mega 50-50 winners were raffled off at 7 p.m.

The Ocean County Irish Festival was a spectacular family event with live music, pipe bands, Irish step dancers, great food trucks, vendors and a number of charity organizations throughout the park.

There was plenty of domestic and Irish beer flowing to keep up the cheer.  There was a fine assortment of wines offered by the Shillelaghs.
