Rams Suffer 5-0 Softball Loss to Toms River South

STAFFORD - Kaitlyn Aschoff went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run for Toms River South in a 5-0 win over Southern on Thursday.  This was Southern's second loss of the season.  The Rams lost a close contest on Wednesday 4-3 to Jackson.  

Both teams went scoreless until the fourth when Toms River South took a 2-0 lead. Hayley Tamaro threw a two-hitter with six strikeouts and one walk in the win.
 

Southern's record is 4-2 on the season.  The next game is Tuesday, 4 p.m. as they host Brick Township.
