STAFFORD, NJ - Sunday is the official first day of spring.  Many of you have been enjoying this past week with nice weather warmer than usual.  The National Weather Service has predicted the following wintry weather for this weekend.  Here is the latest as of 8:40 PM Friday.

There is a storm developing from our South and will be developing off the coast.  During the afternoon Saturday, we will see some showers.  The bulk of the precipitation will begin in the afternoon on Sunday.  Over night Sunday forecasters are predicting a heavy, wet snow as the temperatures drop.  The expected accumulations overnight Sunday will be from 1-3 inches.  The spring snow is not expected to have significant affect on the Stafford / LBI area.  It is doubtful that it will stick on the warmer roads in our area.
