Southern AYF and Cheer Registrations Continues to Be Open For 2017 Season

STAFFORD, NJ – The Southern American Youth Football and Cheer programs has recently announced changes for the 2017 season and registration opportunities.

Football weight restrictions will no longer come into play. Teams will consist of:

  • Age seven team
  • Age eight and nine team
  • Age 10 and younger
  • Age 11 and younger
  • Age 12 and younger

The program has many players returning from the Class B South Champion Jr. Peewees and the age 10 team that represented the Southern AYF program in Florida for nationals.

The cheerleading program has reached the nationals for the last four years. Last season’s Pee Wee Cheer team won the Jersey Shore, BIG East Regionals and placed third in the nation.

The cheerleader program has teams from age 5 to 14.  Competition teams are also available.
