Southern Baseball Shocks the Shore by Defeating Jackson Memorial 3-1 Behind MIke Schiatarelli Pitching and Timely Hitting

STAFFORD - The Southern Regional Boys Baseball team shocked the Shore Conference today with a 3-1 victory over Jackson Memorial at home on Wednesdsay afternoon.

Brady Clark notched an RBI single to help Southern Regional upset Jackson Memorial.  Jackson is the No. 11 ranked team in New Jersey.

This is Jackson's first loss of the season and Southern's first victory.

Cole Markley and Aiden Hoszzu each had two hits for Southerm while Hoszzu also scored a run. Clark and Johnny Tilton scored for the Rams.

Southern's pitcher Mike Schiatarella earned the win going six innings, giving up six hits, one run with seven strikeouts.

For Jackson Memorial, Ty Beck had the lone RBI and Troy Bathman went 2-for-4 with a run.
