Southern Boys Lacrosse Defeats Mainland Regional in Double Overtime 9-8

STAFFORD - Senior attackman Will Johnson scored three goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime on a feed from sophomore attackman Nick Fontana, to lead Southern to a 9-8 victory over Mainland at Southern on Saturday. 

Kyle Mulrane scored three goals and had an assist.  Cade Johnson scored twice.  Fontana had one goal and three assists for the Rams.

Tristen Farina had 21 saves in the win.

Andrew Bradley had three goals, Ethan Irizarry posted two scores, and Keegan Ford and Matthew Edwards each chipped in a goal apiece for Mainland.
