LONG BRANCH - Southern Boys Soccer suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday morning in Long Branch. Stiviny Silva scored the game-winning goal in the first minute of overtime off an assist form Jose Herrera as Long Branch beat the Rams 2-1. Silva scored both goals for Long Branch. 

Dylan Blauvelt scored Southern's lone goal. 

Southern's record dropped to 4-1 on the season.  The Rams are 2-0 in Class A South. Southern's next contest is on Tuesday at Toms River East. East is 0-2 in A South and 1-3 on the season.
