STAFFORD, NJ - The Southern Regional Girls Basketball team defeated Central Regoinal on Thursday night 51-26. The Rams used an 18-7 second quarter to take control of the game.

Lauren Cruse scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Freshman Kaela Curtin added 11 points. Shauna McHale chipped in with 9 points and 4 rebounds.

Mikayla Nicolini, who has missed most of the season with an injury contributed 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists for the Rams. .

Alexis Holloway led Central with 8 points and Noah Smith added 5.

Southern's record is 9-7 overall and 6-4 in Shore Conference Class A South.
