STAFFORD — The Southern Regional Girls Volleyball advanced to the NJSIAA South Jersey Championship game on Saturday after a 25-23 and 25-17 victory over Williamstown High School on Friday afternoon.

Southern closed out the match on an 11-4 run to down Williamstown 25-23, 25-17 in Stafford Township and advance to the South Jersey, Group 4 final on Monday.

Hailey Krause and Rachael Pharo combined for 24 kills. Those two have a total of 221 kills on the season, over 50 percent of Southern’s attack in 2021.

Awaiting Southern in the final will be top-seeded Cherokee, which handed Southern its only loss of the season back on April 3.  The Rams are looking for a rematch and are hungry for the victory.
