Southern Regional Boys Lacrosse Defeats Washington Township 10-8 in State Tourney Action

STAFFORD, NJ - Southern Regional, the 4th seed defeated 13th seed Washington Township, 10-8, in the first round of the South Jersey, Group 4 tournament.  

Nick Simonelli scored 5 goals to lead Southern.  Will Johnson added three goals and James Manzo had one goal and one assist.

The Rams outshot Washington Township 31-22.  Southern will host the winner of  of the fifth-seeded Eastern vs 12th-seeded South Brunswick in the quarterfinals.
