STAFFORD, NJ - On Saturday evening the Southern Regional Boys Soccer team defeated defeating Pinelands 2-0 for their first win of the season.  It was also the first victory for Southern's new coach Guy Lockwood.  Lockwood was an All Shore performer at Southern Regional and Division 1 player for Monmouth University.  His expertise and experience should add strength to the Southern program in upcoming seasons.

Connor Feeney and Brad Bischof scored for the Rams.  Southern Regional Athletic Director Chuck Donohue Jr. commented "Congratulations to all in helping raise $700 for the Wounded Warrior Project. Special thanks to Pinelands Athletic Director Will Sundermann and both the boys and girls soccer teams. Thank you parents, fans, coaches, athletes on great night for a great cause."
