STAFFORD, NJ - On Monday afternoon, Coach Jenna Lombardo's Southern Regional Field Hockey team defeated Toms River South 2-0.  

Samantha Minafo and Maitland Demand each scored in the second half for the Ram. Brooke Little and Emma Wilhelm each added an assist for Southern as Kaitlyn Spaschak turned away the only shot on goal.  Kelly Weiss made 20 saves for Toms River South.

Southern's record improved to 6-2-1 on season.  They are 5-0-1 in Shore Conference Class A South.
