Southern Regional Girls Soccer Soccer Falls 3-1 to Toms River North

STAFFORD - Megan Lockwood scored off a Sara Lockwood assist in the first half for Southern's Girls Soccer team on Wednesday in a 3-1 loss to Toms River North.  North is ranked No. 9 in NJ according to NJ.com.  

Paige Farley recorded a goal and an assist to lead Toms River North. Hailey Montanile and Angelina Rodriguez scored a goal apiece while Melissa Wilhelm added an assist for Toms River North, which scored two goals in the second half.

Goalkeeper Cameron Kennett made five saves for Toms River North, which has allowed one or fewer goals in a game six times this season.

Southern's record drops to 2-7 on the season.  They are 1-6 in Shore Conference Class A South.
