STAFFORD - The highly touted Southern Regional Boys Volleyball opened their season on Monday afternoon with a 2-0 victory over Lacey High School.  The Rams won by scores of 25-16 and 25-18.  

The Rams are without last years top NJ player in Liam Maxwell.  Maxwell is playing at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina.  The Rams are on the New Jersey's top programs.  They have won state titles three out of the past four years. The Rams have competed in the state title match each of the last eight seasons.  

They are expected to be very strong this spring. ,The Rams have senior setter and Second Team All-State pick Brennan Davis (849 assists) and sophomore Third Team pick Matt Maxwell (335 digs). Collin Lockwood, Shane Drayton, and Shane Bent all figure to be key parts of the lineup this season as well.
