Southern Volleyball Wins Doubleheader Against Toms River East

STAFFORD, NJ - The Southern Regional Volleyball squad played two separate matches against Toms River East today.  The Rams won both matches by scores of 2-0.  

In the first match, Southern outscored their opponent 25-11 and 25-11.  Liam Maxwell had 6 kills.  Ryan Brady and Tim Miglin had 3 kills each for the victors.  Brennan Davis had 21 assists; Josh Iovine 8 digs and Shane Drayton contributed 2 kills and 2 blocks.

In the second match, Southern won their games by scores of  25-5 and 25-9.  Collin Lockwood had 5 kills and 5 digs.  Jay Boehler had 5 kills, Shane Bent 3 blocks while Dale Mury chipped in with 8 assists for the Rams.  Matt Maxwell had 10 digs in this match. 

Southern's record improves to 16-0 on the season.
