STAFFORD, NJ - Coach John Stout's powerful wrestling program won another South Jersey team championship by defeating Kingsway Regional 56-13. Southern won the last seven bouts to secure the championship.    

Michael Racanelli, Pat Mooney and Joe Toci each recorded pins to lead Southern, Southern is now rated the No. 4 team in NJ in the NJ.com Top 20.  

Dylan Cardell, Matthew Barnett, Teddy Caporrino each won by decision for Southern.

Trace Kinner won by pin in the 120-pound class for Kingsway.

Southern advanced to the Group 5 semifinal tomorrow (Sunday) at the Pine Belt Arena in Toms River.  They are scheduled to take on Clifton at 2 p.m..  If the Rams win they will advance to NJ state final match at 7:30 PM.
