STAFFORD - On Thursday, March 30, 2017, at approximately 2:30 a.m. Stafford Township Police received a report of a car burglary in progress in the area of Autumn Oak Lane in the Ocean Acres section of Stafford Township.

The police responded and located the vehicle, described by witnesses as a green Honda CRV.  A motor vehicle stop was conducted in the area of Nautilus Drive and Route 72.

The driver of the vehicle was Shawn G. Hutchinson, 26 years old Galloway, NJ and its passengers, Michael J. Perrottet 27 years old and Ralph E. Davis 19 years old both Atlantic City, NJ were subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Stafford Township Police Headquarters.

Hutchinson was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and theft. He was also issued summonses for driving while suspended, failure to stop or yield and failing to use turn signal.

Perrottet was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, theft and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.
Davis was charged with resisting arrest, burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and theft.

They were all released pending appearance in Ocean County Superior Court
