STAFFORD, NJ - On the evening of Sunday, October 9, 2016 Stafford Police responded to a call regarding a serious fall. Stafford Police arrived on the scene at a home on Atlantis Avenue in Ocean Acres at 5:59 p.m. 

"Upon police arrival, it was ascertained that a male subject in his early 40’s had fallen through the ceiling of a detached garage at the Atlantis Avenue residence while storing items in the attic," said Stafford Patrolman Keith Oler. 

The male fall victim was said to have fell approximately 12 feet landing on the concrete garage floor.

"As a result the victim sustained a laceration to the back of his head and complained of back pain, said Patrolman Oler, "a witness at the scene also advised that the victim had briefly lost consciousness as a result of the fall."

The Stafford Township First Aid Squad and the MONOC Medics responded to the scene of the fall and transported the victim to Southern Ocean Medical Center.

The victim was then later transported to Atlantic City Trauma Center by the MONOC 1 Medivac helicopter for further treatment. 

The victim’s medical condition was unknown at the time of completion of the press release prepared by the responding Stafford Police Officer, Patrolman Keith Oler.
