Stafford's George Rossi Honored by Shore Soccer Officials Association

SPRING LAKE, NJ - Local resident George Rossi was recently honored by the Shore Soccer Officials Association at their annual banquet on November 17 for 40 years of officiating soccer in the Jersey Shore area.  George is well known in the Stafford-LBI area officiating recreation and high school soccer and basketball.

"I was so surprised," George said.  "It was a great honor to be recognized by my peers and I was shocked when I received the award that I have been refereeing with the Shore Soccer Officials Association for 40 years."

George is employed by the Toms River Board of Education.  He is married to Karen, who is a teacher at Southern Regional High School.  They have two children Taylor and Tommy.
