STAFFORD, NJ - On Sunday morning a motor vehicle accident occurred at the corner of Nautilus Drive and Treasure Avenue. Two cars were involved and each sustained heavy damage resulting in the air bags being deployed in each vehicle.

Stafford police report that a Hyundai Elantra operated by a male juvenile bypassed a stop sign and entered into the intersection where it struck a Ford Taurus that was traveling north bound on Nautilus Drive.  The Hyundai also had another male juvenile occupant and both were uninjured.  

The Ford Taurus was operated by an 87 year old male along and an 84 year old female passenger.  Both sustained injuries and were transported to Southern Ocean Medical Center for treatment.  EMS and the Stafford Fire Department assisted the police at the scene.

Both vehicles were towed from the roadway. Patrolman Michael Wade is the investigating officer.
