SURF CITY, NJ - On Saturday October 27, Surf City's Fourth Annual Trunk or Treat event hosted by the Surf City Police Department and the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company will take place..
Surf City Trunk or Treat is a fun and safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating. This free event is family-friendly, but mostly geared towards children 12 and under.
The event will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
Along with the trunks of treats, there will be face painting, balloon twisters, a DJ, crafting, snacks, and lots of candy.
Those interested in sponsoring and/or having a trunk at the event should email Surf City Police Sgt. Sarah Roe at email@example.com and/or Surf City EMS member Jennifer Collins at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sponsors are permitted to have a banner for their business at their trunk station. Battery-operated lights are suggested for the event as it does take place around dusk, when the sun has set or is beginning to set on LBI.
