Swimming Prohibited on Long Beach Island for Third Straight Day on Wednesday, August 30

LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ - Due to rough waters, lifeguards have decided to fly the red flags again today and prohibit all swimming in the ocean.

BH EMERG MGMT, NJ: Beach Haven Lifeguards advise the ocean is extremely dangerous today.  Swimming is prohibited today,  Stay out of the ocean.

Long Beach Township Police Department: Due to extremely dangerous ocean conditions all Long Beach Twp beaches are red flagged today, no swimming. Please stay out of the water. 

Ship Bottom OEM: Ocean conditions are very dangerous! All Ship Bottom Beaches are Closed! No swimming Today.

Surf City Police Department: The NO SWIMMING/red flag warning is in effect again for today,  Stay out of the water!

Harvey Cedars Beach Patrol: Rain, wind & dangerous/life-threatening conditions in the ocean today. Swimming is prohibited 🚫⚠
