If you have yet to visit Bergen County’s famed Gothic revival museum, you must make it a point to tour the grounds. This National Historic Landmark built in the 19th century will host its Second Annual Food Truck Festival on Saturday starting at 11 am. Admission is only $5 per person with children under 5 free. Besides sampling food from the trucks, guests are invited to watch live musical performances from local talent.

City Place Annual Sidewalk Sale

Every year, City Place at The Promenade in Edgewater hosts a weekend-long party to bring in droves of shoppers. Shop exclusive deals from popular retailers such as Aerosoles, Carter’s, and Pier 1 Imports. Listen to live musical acts while you shop, enter raffles, and bring the kids along for face painting. Free 10-minute massage sessions will also be sponsored by R & R with Hand and Stone. The event will be from Friday through Sunday.

The Parade of Pollinators

Looking for a unique nature experience to take part in this weekend? Then, you must head to Valley Crest Farm and Preserve on Saturday for the Parade of Pollinators. From 10 am to 11:30 am, you’ll get to see the farm’s 14 beehives in action. The class will view and learn about the farm’s bees and monarch butterflies while touring the farm. Cost to attend is $5. The market will be open following your visit to take home delicious fresh produce. The farm also has a pick your own program that allows you to select and buy your own fruits and vegetables from their crops.
