BARNEGAT, NJ - We’ve all seen the signs, they’re everywhere. It’s a busy real estate season, with rentals available and properties for sale all over Ocean County. Opportunities exist for real estate investors to profit, but it’s not as easy as it looks on TV.
Builder Paul Rueda has experienced the ups and downs of the real estate market in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, most recently moving his office from Beach Haven to Barnegat on Route 9.
“People expect things to go smoothly when they start a remodel or new build, but sometimes there are problems that take an experienced team to fix,” he says. Having a trusted group of professionals to answer questions and provide referrals to trusted service providers is a need about to be met.
The Coastal South Jersey Real Estate Investors group is launching on April 4 to provide education, networking and referrals. Rueda’s company, PKR Building and Development, is sponsoring the group.
At the first meeting, local broker and owner of Elite Team Realty, Anamaria Del Valle, will share the “State of the Market,” an introduction to the foreclosure opportunities in the region.
Other presentations are planned for the next several months, including legal, financial, retirement planning and other aspects related to real estate investing.
“We have a Facebook group to share information, and will be creating a website and YouTube channel to support real estate investors,” says Rueda.
The first meeting for the Coastal South Jersey Real Estate Investors will be held this upcoming Tuesday, April 4, from 7-9 p.m. The meeting will be held at the office of PKR Building and Development at 307 South Main Street, Barnegat, NJ 08005.
