Singing Bowls with Dr Darren Orr

The highest goal of music is to connect one’s soul to their Divine Nature, not entertainment”

Pythagoras (569- 475 BC)

Let the 7 sacred sounds of the musical scale release stress and tension, alleviate pain, calm the body, mind, thoughts, spirit, emotions and allow you to access peace within.  This 1.5 hour class will begin with 15 minutes of QiGong and end with 15 minutes of Q&A. All are welcome, no experience necessary. Perfect for those with no experience with meditation and deeply profound for those that do. Bring a blanket, pillow, lay down or sit in a chair...and listen!!

Each cell in the human body has a quartz crystalline structure and is genetically programmed to maintain its own health and well being. During the course of our lives many emotional mental and environmental factors interfere with this state. When the body is vibrating out of tune or non harmoniously, it's called disease. The human body is the sum of many vibrations emanating from internal organs, cells and nerves.

Vibrations spread in waves. There is no better medium for waves than water. The human body is 2/3 water. This makes it an excellent medium for the propagation of waves. When a crystal singing bowl is struck, they call on the bodies memories of original harmonic frequencies. Heart, nervous, digestive and respiratory rates change, self healing powers are activated and the immune system strengthened.

The sound and vibrations emanating from the singing bowls retune the listeners body initially by opening, clearing and rebalancing each of the 7 major chakras, 365 acupuncture points, 3 Dan tiens, cells, nerve plexus, endocrine glands and internal organs. When the body is vibrating in harmony with the whole, it is in a state of homeostasis, or sound health.
