'Bridging the Gap for Artists and Community,' Breaker Zine Sweet 16 Issue Available Now

LBI REGION - Breaker Zine was born in 2016, when co-creators, Dawn Simon and Peter Sullivan (also graphic designers and co-owners of Swing Graphics, LLC) felt inspired to make and share art in a new, unique way for our community. 

"In 2016, we decided to put out the beta issue of Breaker, as a way to get a little more creative with our design work," Dawn said.

Classic Rock Bandfest Saturday Night in Manahawkin to Benefit Southern Ocean Rotary

STAFFORD - Come on out on a projected warm Saturday evening into the air-conditioned confines of St. Mary's Parish Center and enjoy a night of live bands playing classic rock music. 

This classic Bandfest includes area bands Black Zeppelin, Junkyard Dawgs, and Modern Rewind.

The event benefits the many charitable causes of the Rotary Club of Southern Ocean County.

Spring Fling at Beach Haven Moose Lodge to Benefit Nonprofit 'Hearts of Mercy' This Saturday

MANAHAWKIN, NJ - This Saturday, May 21 from 12-4 p.m. head on over to the Beach Haven Moose Lodge, located at 120 Rt. 72 in Manahawkin, for a Spring Fling event to benefit local nonprofit, Hearts of Mercy. 

There is no admission fee to attend. There will be BBQ, live music, drinks, games, raffles, 50/50 and a silent auction.

Harvey Cedars Sunset Park Summer Concert Series to Begin July 13 with the Impulsives

New Jersey State Parks Announce Memorial Day Beach and Lifeguard Hours

Memorial Day Weekend Lifeguard Schedule Island Beach State Park will be staffed with lifeguards from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend. Swimming is only permitted in designated swim areas when lifeguards on are duty.
