LONG BEACH TOWNSHIP –  The Long Beach Township Police Department released a statement on November 30 press detailing the arrest of the owner of local Long Beach Island real estate company

Ager Realty owner Donald Pojednic was arrested on charges of misapplication of entrusted property and property of government or financial institutions and theft. He was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 30.

Pojednic is alleged to have transferred more than $100,000 from the realty’s escrow account into the company’s checking account since November 2015. He allegedly then used that money to pay for business and personal expenses.

The escrow account contained money belonging to homeowners and tenants.

Pojednic was released by Long Beach Township pending a future court hearing.

The Department asks that anyone who has not received money belonging to them from Ager Realty–security deposits, rent checks, etc.–from 2013 to today should contact the Long Beach Township Police Department Detective Bureau 609-361-2050.
