MANAHAWKIN, NJ - The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce opens their 105th year of continued service at the most anticipated business event of the year, the "State of the Chamber."

This event unites local business leadership with the information that will help navigate anticipated legislation coming from state and federal government.

The event will take place at The Mainland Holiday Inn at 151 Rt. 72 East and registration will begin at 8:15 a.m.

The program's keynote speaker is Mr. Joseph Simonetta, the Senior Partner of Public Strategies Impact, who will be discussing in depth, policy and legislation that has recently passed or pending. Including overview of Marijuana Laws, Short Term Rental Tax, Paid Sick Leave, Bag laws, and special ruling status.

If you are a business owner or doing business in New Jersey, this presentation will help you understand the changes that have already begun to change the economy in our state.

In addition to Mr. Simonetta, the chamber's 105th committee will announce special events including an exclusive Google DMO Partnership and Trusted Verifier status, along with promotions that will be happening throughout the region in recognition of this milestone year.
