BEACH HAVEN — At last week's Borough Council meeting, business was conducted as usual until it came time for public comment.
A number of residents shared their complaints and concerns about the approved Developer's Agreement between Hotel Beach Haven and the Borough. It appeared that those who were in attendance were still upset at the narrow approval last month.
The next stage of the Hotel Beach Haven process, seeking approval from the Borough's Land Use Board is set for Monday, December 2. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and is being held in the Beach Haven Firehouse.
The Land Use Board is looking at avoiding repetitive questions and streamlining the meeting. Jacqueline Fife, land use board secretary, said the panel is requesting that people who have questions submit them in advance of the meeting by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Forms for submitting questions can be found on the borough’s website, beachhaven-nj.gov. Click on Signed Questionnaire for Morrison’s.
Vernon's architect, planner and other experts will be on hand to talk about the design of the buildings, storm water runoff, parking, traffic and various issues.
The questions submitted by the public are expected to be answered by Mr. Vernon's team.
