STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ — On Wednesday, May 20 a Proclamation was signed by Mayor Gregory E. Myhre and Chief Thomas Dellane regarding the State of Emergency and the Parks and Recreation in Stafford Township. 

The Proclamation stated that on Friday, May 22, 2020 Stafford Township will reopen all parks for recreation. This includes the public bathrooms at the parks as well. Masks are required to enter the bathrooms. Signs will be posted to remind residents to continue to practice social distancing. 

The town will also be reopening the Tennis and Pickleball courts with restrictions. Singles only or doubles if they live in the same household, the Proclamation states.

Playground equipment, basketball courts and pavilions will remain closed until further notice.  

The Jennifer Lane Bay Beach in Beach Haven West will reopen on June 15, 2020. Capacity of the beach area will be limited to 50% with social distancing being practiced.
