STAFFORD - The Stafford Township Office of Emergency Management released a statement about the Coronavirus impact.
The Stafford Township Office of Emergency Management along with our Mayor, Council and Police Department continue to monitor the Coronavirus as it evolves.
We would like the public to be informed with the latest information on the coronavirus (Also known as COVID-19). Everyone has a role to play in getting ready and staying healthy as this virus effects the United States of America.
The Ocean County Health Department is very active in educating the public on this virus and is a great resource for accurate and relevant information about the virus.
We encourage all residents to visit the Health Department website at https://www.ochd.org/covid19/ for further information.
Recommendations to reduce the spread of this virus are what we typically do this time of year with the flu season, so remember to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds in warm water and if you’re sick with flu like symptoms stay home from school and work. The Ocean County Health Department also has an information hotline at 732-341-9700 Extension 7411 if you would like more information on the coronavirus.
