Members of the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company Complete the NYC Memorial Stair Climb

NEW YORK CITY, NY - On Sunday March 19, members of the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company, including Surf City Police Ptl. Costabile, completed the third annual NYC Memorial Stair Climb.  

These men climbed 72 floors of 4 World Trade Center in their gear in honor of the 343 NYFD firefighters, 23 NYPD officers, and 37 PAPD police officers who were killed on September 11, 2001.

Pancake Breakfast with Easter Bunny to Benefit Surf City Volunteer Fire Company

SURF CITY, NJ - The Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser for the Surf City Volunteer Fire Company will be held on Saturday April 15, 2017 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Firehouse.

Sunday Afternoon Forest Fire Controlled Burn on Route 539 in Barnegat

BARNEGAT, NJ - Area travelers should be aware that there is a controlled burn on Route 539 just north of Route 72.  There will be flames and smoke in the area while you are driving.  The Barnegat Police Department recently sent out a press release.
