STAFFORD - A bicyclist was flown to a hospital after colliding with a car on Route 72 on Saturday.
At 9:41 a.m., authorities responded to the call in front of Bed, Bath, and Beyond, according to a Stafford Township Police Department press release.
A bicyclist not identified by police cut through stopped cars in two lanes of Route 72, entering the path of a 2016 Mazda CX-5 driven by Sarah Gleeson, 35 of Collingswood, according to police.
The bicyclist collided with the Mazda and its windshield before he landed on the roadway.
The bicyclist sustained a head injury and was flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, where he was being observed Saturday.
