Manahawkin Baptist Church Hosting Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 10

MANAHAWKIN, NJ - The Manahawkin Baptist Church, located at 400 Beach Avenue, is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 10 at 11:45 a.m.

Manahawkin Elks #2340 donates to Ken's Kitchen

STAFFORD - The Manahawkin Elks recent donated $500 to support Ken’s Kitchen at Saint Mary’s Parish Center.

Ken’s Kitchen prepares 400 meals weekly to folks in the community that are in need. 170 of these meals are delivered directly to homebound people. Each meal delivered includes a loaf of bread and a desert. Ken’s also offers blood pressure screenings.

New Jersey's “Ban the Box” law took effect in 2015. It prohibits employers with 15 or more employees from requiring that a job applicant to complete any form during the initial application process that asks about their criminal record.
