JACKSON - The Southern Regional Boys Soccer team traveled to Jackson for a critical Shore Conference Class A South contest against the Jaguars.  Unfortunately, the Rams fell short 1-0 in the contest. The victory clinched Jackson's Class A South championship.

Ronny Bantang scored during the 26th minute and Jackson held on for the victory. Charlie Harrison made eight saves to earn the shutout but it was Frank Savarese who came up with the biggest save, heading an on-target, deflected shot off the goal line in the 34th minute

Southern's record drops to 8-1-1 on the season and 4-1-1 in Class A South. Jackson stands at 11-1 and 6-0 in the conference.
