STAFFORD - On Monday afternoon the Southern Regional Girls Softball team squares off against Shawnee in Medford in state tournament action. The contest kicks off at 3:45 p.m.

Coach Jamie Berardo took over the program last season and has done a great job leading the team. Southern currently has a 20-6 overall record.

The Rams advanced to the quarterfinal contest against Shawnee because Tatiyana Ford tossed a five hiter and had an RBI in leading Southern to a NJSIAA South Jersey Group IV opening round victory over Lenape last Thursday.
