SUMMIT, NJ - The 2017 Summit Police Athletic League (PAL) Fishing Derby will be held May 6 - 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Summit Municipal Golf Course.
The pond at 'The Muni' will be stocked with Rainbow and Brook Trout, with ten, 21-inch prize fish and one thousand, 13-inch fish.
The event is open to all Summit residents, admission is free, and municipal golf course membership is not required. The Derby will take place rain or shine, with attendees asked to bring their own rods and reels. Bait and tackle will be available for purchase on-site.
