SUMMIT, NJ - Freshman Girls Basketball's Anna Forest and Swimming's Bryan Harvey have been named Summit High School Athletes of the Week, presented by TAPinto Summit, for the week ending February 12.
Each week throughout the school athletic year, an athlete or athletes will be honored for distinguishing themselves in the arena of competition, in the classroom, and for demonstrating exemplary, Hilltopper-caliber sportsmanship and leadership qualities.
Forest is recognized for exceeding her coaches expectations, going above and beyond in terms of her work ethic in both practice and game situations.
Sophomore Harvey took first place in the 200 IM in the NJSIAA state quarterfinal win against West Windsor-Plainsboro North, delivering a personal-best time in the process. He and his Hilltopper teammates subsequently swam by Montgomery and into the North 2, Group B Finals against Scotch Plains-Fanwood, which will be held February 16.
