Production Description

This summer, the Summit Playhouse will present the World Premiere of Children of Eden, Junior! Over the coming months, director Lindsay Maron will be working with the creators and MTI to adapt and adjust the show before mounting a full scale production this summer. This epic musical tells the story of Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel and the story of Noah and the flood. With incredibly beautiful and moving music by Stephen Schwartz, this production will feature a large cast of performers as they tell these timeless stories about parents, children, and their endlessly complex relationships. Featuring well-known songs such as: "The Spark of Creation," "Lost in the Wilderness," and "Stranger to the Rain," we look forward to working with our actors to create a new version of this material that can be done by schools and youth performing arts groups across the country and beyond!
