Bank on It: Investors Lets Summit Residents Groove on the Green, Presents Summer Concert Series Starting July 11

SUMMIT, NJ - Multiple genres of from the music vault will take the Village Green stage as Investors Bank presents the 2017 Summit Hot Summer Nights Concert Series beginning July 11.

Dancin’ Machine will drop the beat on the series July 11, followed by Daddy Pop on July 18, Brian Kirk and The Jirks on July 25, and The Shots with the Bergen County Firefighters Pipe Band on August 8.

Dancin' Machine features '70's Real Disco', Daddy Pop offers 'Top 40', Brian Kirk and The Jirks plays tunes 'Straight From the Jersey Shore', and The Shots with the Bergen County Firefighters Pipe Band delivers 'Rock 'n' Roll with a Twist'.

All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and will be accompanied by food trucks as well as free ice cream, also courtesy of Investors Bank. The second night of the concert series, Tuesday, July 18, will serve as Community Night, welcoming local non-profit organizations to share their mission with the Summit community on the Village Green.

All concert-goers are reminded to bring their own blankets and chairs. Admission to all concerts and movies is free. All events held with the City of Summit are alcohol and tobacco-free events.

5/15 - Sean M. Reidy, 52, of Summit was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Summit. Mr. Reidy was able to post bail and released with a pending court date.

5/18 - At 1615 hours a report was taken for a theft from a Springfield Avenue business. The incident occurred at approximately 1031 hours when a white female entered the business and removed a blue Ramy Brook Blouse from a rack.
