SUMMIT, NJ - A concert by beatbox artist Steven Cantor, aka HeaveN Beatbox, and three INKUBATE collaborative dance performances highlight Reeves-Reed Arboretum's 'Sounds of a Summer Night' summer series.

Beatboxing or b-boxing is an form of vocal percussion using one’s mouth, lips, tongue, to vocally replicate, create and mimic sounds and tell stories. HeaveN Beatbox has been delighting audiences with his astounding beatboxing abilities and his magnetic and exuberant personality. Street performing became a way for HeaveN to instantly attract an audience. From children to adults, he astounds all onlookers with his artistry and skill, giving sound and character to the world we live in. INKUBATE is a collaboration between the New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble and Reeves-Reed Arboretum, featuring unique evenings of site-specific dance performances on the Arboretum grounds. INKUBATE will perform June 27, July 11, and August 1.  The final concert of the series, scheduled for Wednesday, August 8, will feature Steven Cantor, aka HeaveN Beatbox, in a remarkable performance of

Attendees are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets to the Arboretum for the performances, with grounds opening at 6 p.m. for concertgoers to picnic and the performances running from 7 - 8 p.m. Based on underwriting support from Investors Bank, the events are free to RRA Members, $15 for non-members, $5 for students. The series is also supported by Nick and Tracy McKee.
