SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Playhouse will present "The Bridges of Madison County," a sweeping romance chronicling the roads we travel, the doors we open and the bridges we dare to cross, beginning November 3 and continuing through November 18.

Based on Robert James Waller's 1992 best-selling novel, "The Bridges of Madison County" tells of a forbidden love affair between a photographer and a housewife that changes them forever. The musical captures the lyrical expanse of America's heartland along with the yearning entangled inherent to the eternal question -- 'What if...?'"

The Broadway production of 'Bridges' won two 2014 Tony Awards -- for Best Score and Best Orchestrations. The 1995 film of the same name starred Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood.
