SUMMIT, NJ - The Friends of the Summit Free Public Library are soliciting donations of jewelry for their upcoming, Semi-Annual Donated Jewelry Sale, which will be held April 22-23 in the Library's Hickock Meeting Room. All proceeds from the sale benefit the Summit Free Public Library, providing programming, equipment and supplies that are not covered by the municipal budget.
All types of jewelry will be accepted, including fine estate-quality pieces, costume jewelry, children's items, men's jewelry, even broken pieces, single earrings, pieces missing stones, non-working watches. Donations may be brought to the library circulation desk during regular library hours between March 6 - April 19. Donation receipts are available.
Sale times are April 22, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and April 23, from 1 - 4 p.m.
The Summit Free Public Library is located at 75 Maple Street.
