Bourbon and Bubbles for a Great Cause

SUMMIT, NEW JERSEY, November 7, 2015 – This event will tickle your nose and warm your heart. Kick off the holiday season with a taste of "Bourbon & Bubbles!"

 This special charity evening hosted by the Summit Junior Fortnightly Club has something for everyone. The party features a North American whisky tasting, hosted by Joe Gratkowski, Master of Whisky, plus Champagne cocktails, heavy appetizers, a silent auction and a tricky tray with prizes donated by popular local restaurants and other upscale retailers. 

Proceeds will benefit ECLC of New Jersey, a nonprofit, based in Chatham, that provides education, careers and lifelong community to children and adults with special needs, including  autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome or severe learning or language disabilities.

The Summit Junior Fortnightly Club (SJFC) is a women’s club dedicated to volunteerism, fund-raising, community service and social activities.  

Established in 1970, ECLC of New Jersey is an accredited, nonprofit providing: "Education, Careers and Lifelong Community" to people with special needs.  ECLC has schools in Chatham and Ho-Ho-Kus, educating nearly 300 students, from ages 5-21. After graduation, ECLC offers employment opportunities through an affiliate, Community Personnel Services, based in Chatham, or placement in the P.R.I.D.E. adult day program, which has centers in Florham Park and Paramus. The manager reported that at approximately 0330 hours a male entered the business and removed two sandwiches from a refrigerated case. After doing so, he exited the store without paying for them.
