SUMMIT, NJ - Based on its multi-season success, the Summit Farmers Market, which traditionally runs from May - November, is going to need to buy a warmer coat, as Summit Downtown, Inc. has detailed that the inaugural season of the Summit Winter Farmers Market will be held on Saturdays beginning January 7 through April 8.
The market will be held indoors at Calvary Episcopal Church from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., with the first season serving as a pilot program.
A survey of more than 100 downtown businesses found that 74% were in favor of the one-year trial of the Winter Market with the hopes of bringing people into the downtown businesses during the slower winter months.

Calvary Episcopal Church is located at 31 Woodland Avenue.
