On site during the morning 'rush hour' at the Summit train station as they have been for the past 15 years, Summit's Calvary Church gave hundreds of busy commuters their traditional Ash Wednesday rites.

With banners flying and choral music playing, sacristans Sharon Snapp, Pam Kuhn, Rev Michel Belt, Mary Hill, and Peter Gordon performed their 'commuter outreach', an initiative which Bishop Mark Beckwith started and which has been sustained by current Bishop Carlye Hughes.
