SUMMIT, NJ - Hilltopper Cross Country Team Members Caroline Moy and Maximus Russo have been named Summit High School Athletes of the Week, presented by TAPinto Summit, for the week ending November 5.

Each week throughout the school athletic year, an athlete or athletes will be honored for distinguishing themselves in the arena of competition, in the classroom, and for demonstrating exemplary, Hilltopper-caliber sportsmanship and leadership qualities.

Moy, a freshman, is the first ninth-grader to run a sub-20 minute 5K (19:51) in a decade. She placed 12th overall at Sectionals and led the Hilltoppers to a third-place finish, which advances the team to the Group Championship November 11 at Holmdel Park.

Russo was the boys squad's overall best finisher, placing 15th overall at the sectional championship. His time was a :05 improvement and led the team to its fastest overall average.
